CRZ YOGA Ease Line Straight vs Drapey Wide Leg

The selected CRZ Ease Line is the RS143 straight-leg model with adjustable hems, a mid rise and a polyamide/elastane fabric. Drapey RS159S has a high-rise wide leg and a recycled-polyester/elastane blend. These are different constructions, despite both selected listings using a 30-inch length.

Two different CRZ constructions

The selected French Navy Ease Line is RS143; the selected True Navy Drapey is RS159S. Their shared 30-inch inseam is one measurement, alongside different rises and leg openings.

Adjustable hems versus an open wide leg

Ease Line’s hem cords let you gather the ankle opening. That is a practical difference when you want to alternate between a straight outline and a closer ankle finish. Gathering a hem does not shorten the sewn inseam; fabric may collect above the shoe. Its side ruching also makes this a visibly different design from a plain straight dress trouser.

Drapey hangs wide to the hem, with no comparable adjustment documented. Check ground clearance with your intended shoes, particularly if the selected length is close to the floor. The shoes-and-hems guide covers that fitting.

Compare straight-leg travel pants if that leg shape is your priority, and inspect hem adjustment separately for each model.

Compare other wide-leg models if the open silhouette suits you but the Drapey version does not solve your fit requirements.

The waist position changes the outfit

A mid-rise Ease Line and high-rise Drapey can place the waistband differently even at the same labeled size. If you tuck shirts or prefer a cropped top, start with the waist position you already find comfortable, then compare the leg shape. The same 30-inch inseam does not make the waist-to-floor measurements identical.

Both models have an inner pocket within the described hand/side-pocket layout. That supports small-item organization; it does not establish a zipper or dimensions sufficient for a passport. Pocket security is therefore not the main demonstrated difference here.

Check the care routine if you want a pressed finish

Both manufacturer pages say machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and no ironing or dry cleaning. A hotel-iron routine for a sharp crease therefore does not fit either model’s stated care. Follow the label if the purchased version differs.

Questions before you choose

Is Ease Line RS143 a plain straight-leg trouser?

It has a straight-leg description, but the manufacturer also specifies adjustable hem cords and side ruching. Those details matter if you want a minimal dress-trouser appearance.

Do Ease Line and Drapey have the same rise?

No. RS143 is described as mid rise and RS159S Drapey as high rise. Neither label supplies an exact rise measurement for every size.
